What Parents Are Saying About Apple Day Camp...

Choosing a camp for your child is not an easy task! As a parent, you want to make sure your child is going to have fun in a healthy and safe environment. We chose to send our son to Apple Day Camp for 4 weeks last summer and we were very happy with our decision.

The staff is wonderfully attentive and caring. The activities are varied enough to keep any child engaged! There were days when our son came home from camp exhausted but could not wait to return the next day. He loved the camp so much that he has asked to go back for the full summer this year! I asked Kyle the following questions: What did you like about going to Apple Day Camp last summer?

He replied in his words: There were lots of things - Archery and Fishing, going on trips like bowling, Atlantis and best of all Splish Splash. I liked learning lanyard and playing freeze dance!

I asked my daughter to name two things she liked most about this camp. She replied "the staff" and "the field trips." I would have to agree. The weekly schedule of field trips is a child's dream come true! Splish Splash every week, Boomers, Sports Plus, trips to the beach and the list goes on and on. Never a dull moment!

The staff at Apple is 100% professional and I felt confident from our very first meeting that my child would be in a safe environment. The staff is extremely organized and they make the most of every day. My child returns from camp bubbling with excitement about the days’ adventures. Even the craft projects that come home every week are interesting ...definitely not the same old stuff!

Everything my child needs for the day is included in the tuition...no kidding....Snacks, drinks, camp t-shirts and tote bag, crafts, admissions, game tokens and new this year, lunch! We give Apple Day Camp an A+!

My six-year old, Grayson, thinks Apple Day Camp is “amazing!” He loves to launch into the story about how many times he ‘got’ Director James Regan during Laser Tag. “I love the horses and the animals” he continues. “And the time with the roller coaster- it was wicked fast! …and the bowling and the games and the ice cream…”

I am enthusiastic about their school break programs and, possibly most important to our family, the fact that they offer 9 weeks during the summer. This is the only summer camp program I know of that offers a week 9, so Grayson is right-- it is amazing!

I am very comfortable with the leadership of the Camp Directors. They are friendly, approachable and qualified. Specifically, I am impressed with their credentials-- educational and experiential backgrounds that I know to be of the absolute highest quality. It’s nice to see such talent and philosophy right here in Riverhead and at really competitive prices, packed with features, staffed with care, and loaded with fun.
