Camp Leadership

Colleen, Camp Administrator

Colleen returns to the ADC staff for her second year. This is her seventh year working at summer camp and fifth in a director-level position. She is taking a step back from on-site duties due to the birth of her first child, J.T., this past April. Colleen holds a B.M. degree in Music Education from the Crane School of Music and teaches junior high chorus in Melville, NY.
James H., Camp Director

James is a former NFL athlete. For the past 4 years, James has not only worked as Assistant Director of Development for Timothy Hill Children's Ranch, but has also been a big brother to many children at the Ranch and in his hometown community, Riverhead, NY. During the Fall, James coaches for the Riverhead Varsity Football Team. He holds a B.A. in Communications from Abilene Christian University and a M.B.A. from Harding University.
James R., Camp Director

James has six years of experience directing camps and lots of additional experience working with children. He has been with Timothy Hill Children's Ranch for five years and is largely responsible for developing the Apple Day Camp program. He grew up in West Babylon, NY and has a B.A. in Liberal Studies from Seton Hall University. He near completion of his M.S.W. at SUNY Stony Brook and resides in Selden with his wife and newborn baby-- James Tanner.

Akira, Lead counselor

Akira is a music educator in Huntington, NY. She also possesses her M.B.A., does financial planning work, and enjoys teaching private piano lessons. She resides in West Babylon, NY with her husband. This will be her 2nd year at camp.
Amy, Lead counselor

Amy is an elementary school educator in the William Floyd school district. She has lots of experience working with children and is excited to be back for her second summer at camp. She originally hails from Buffalo, NY.
Briana, 1st year counselor

Briana just finished her freshman year at Mount Saint Mary College where she is majoring in early childhood education. She enjoys working with children and has coached pre-school and elementary students in soccer, basketball, and volleyball. She works at a daycare center during the school year and is actively involved in her church youth group. She is looking forward to spending her summer with Apple Day Camp.
Brynn, 1st year counselor

Brynn is a recent graduate of Westhampton Beach High School and is attending Messiah College in Grantham, PA in the fall. She is on the Lady Falcon Volleyball team and will study pre-med. Brynn has had a lot of positive experience working with children, especially coaching elementary students in basketball and lacrosse. She has also been very involved in the youth activities of her church and has also worked with children on mission trips to Romania and Mexico.
Cassandra, 2nd year bus driver

Cassandra works for the Riverhead school district and is a Riverhead resident. She is also a proud parent. She is excited to return to camp.
Jamel, Climbing Wall Instructor

Jamel is certified in Adventure Based Counseling through Project Adventure. He loves his summers working in this capacity at camp. He is also an employee at Timothy Hill Children's Ranch and is originally from Brentwood, NY.
Jennifer, 2nd year counselor

Jennifer is a recent graduate of West Babylon High School and is excited for her second summer at camp! She was a varsity golfer and track & field athlete and plays club soccer. She graduated in the top 5% of her class and was active in student government. She is enthusiastic about working with children and will enter the Physician's Assistant program at St. John's University this fall.
Jordan, 1st year junior counselor

Jordan attends Riverhead High School. She is an active member of the Varsity Tennis Team, enjoys acting with the Blue Masques and sings alto in the show choir. Jordan has worked as a babysitter and a junior counselor for the Suffolk County Junior Tennis League. She is a peer leader with the Community Awareness Program and a Girl Scout Cadette. Jordan can't wait to spend her summer with the kids at Apple Day Camp!

Kim, 1st year counselor

Kim grew up in the great state of Texas in Houston. She currently a junior at Abilene Christian University studying vocational missions and family studies and cannot wait to graduate! Kim has been working at the Boys and Girl's Club in Abilene for over a year and plans to pursue social week after graduating from college. She is excited to be spending her summer on Long Island.

Molly, 1st year junior counselor

Molly served well as a Counselor Trainee at camp for the past two summers. She is a Riverhead resident and she enjoys cheerleading.
Nick, 1st year counselor

Nick is a current student at Nassau Community College, majoring in Music Education. He enjoys many sports, including baseball, football, and soccer. He has experience working with children at the Town of Babylon summer music program for the previous two years. He is looking forward for an exciting and fun-filled summer this year.

Rob, 2nd year counselor

Rob is a sophomore at Suffolk Community College. He enjoys all sports and is a former Boy Scout. After counseling part-time last summer, he is excited to come on board full-time. Rob is the Archery Instructor for the camp.

Suzanne, 1st year counselor

Suzanne recently finished her freshman after graduating from Shoreham-Wading River High School. She runs both cross country and track at Holy Cross, and is a member of several clubs including Big Brother Big Sister. She has prior counselor experience and enjoys various crafts and sports. She is considering a career in education.

Theresa, 3rd year bus driver

Theresa has worked for the camp since its founding in 2005 in many different roles. This year she will serve as a driver and is excited to be back. She is a Riverhead resident, works for the Riverhead school district and mother of four. Her many diverse interests include pet sitting, web design, and the Girl Scouts. She is currently working on becoming a vetinary techinician.

Todd, 2nd year counselor

Todd is a recent graduate of Morrisville State College where he earned his associate's degree. He plans on pursuing a degree in education at Grand Canyon University. Todd enjoys playing sports and is a former varsity football player.

Tom, 2nd year junior counselor

Tom is a Junior at William Floyd High School and a member of their perrenial powerhouse varsity football team. He is also a certified lifeguard.

Board Members

Thaddaeus Hill, President

Thaddaeus has sixteen years of experience working with children. He has an M.S.W. from SUNY Stony Brook and an M.B.A. from Dowling College. He spent his undergraduate years at Harding University in Arkansas, where he was also a part of the football team. Also, he is a former coach and player for the Riverhead H.S. football team. He is a lifelong Riverhead resident, an active member of the community and a proud father of two.
Linda Bateman, Secretary

Linda has taught for over thirty years at Harding Academy, a Christian school in Memphis, Tennessee where she is presently serving as an Elementary School Counselor. She has a B.A. from Harding College and an M. Ed. from the University of Memphis. She is very active in her community: involved in her church's Women's Ministry Council, the Red Cross Youth Club, Small Group Counseling (Divorce/Grief), and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. She frequents the North Fork often and is proud to be a long-standing board member of Timothy Hill Children's Ranch.
Kevin Santacroce, Treasurer

Kevin Santacroce, Board Treasurer
Kevin L. Santacroce is a Senior Vice President for Bridgehampton National Bank. Prior to joining the bank in 1997, Kevin was Controller of a skilled nursing facility on the East End. Kevin graduated with distinction in 2000 from ABA's Stonier Graduate School of Banking conducted at Georgetown University and holds a BS in Business Administration from Bryant University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. Kevin currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Timothy Hill Children’s Ranch. Kevin resides in Southold with his wife three children.
